Excellent location in a great island, in the core of Raja Ampat Islands Staff guides you very well, since you arrive Sorong Airport, through ferry in Waisai till arrving the lodge Different activities available: diving (main one), kayaking and visiting other islands. I really wanted to visit the Wayag - usually a min 3 people trip. I was solo, but they arranged a small boat for me Food is very good. It was great to have our own bathroom and shower, and a deck with hammocks for relaxing. The location near chicken reef was perfect for snorkeling. We were also thankful that they were willing to take us to our next location when our arranged boat did not arrive- very much appreciated!!

Nyande Raja Ampat, hotel in Pulau Mansuar

Nyande Raja Ampat provides beachfront accommodations in Pulau Mansuar. This guest house provides a garden.

Andy's place was amazing, especially the panorama view from the over water villa!! We consider it to be even better than Maldives :) Also, he provides the tastiest meals ever, we both agree that it was the best food we ever had in Indonesia. Also appreciate the private western-style bathroom, which was always spotlessly clean. We absolutely love our stay at Nyande and hope to be back when Andy finishes setting up his dive shop. Thank you for such an unforgettable stay!!

Terimakasih homestay, hotel in Pulau Mansuar

Featuring a garden, Terimakasih homestay features accommodations in Pulau Mansuar. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi. The property offers sea views.

Wow, where to begin? We didn't have much expectations coming to Terimakasih, but the stay completely exceeded any expectation we could have formed. The pictures on booking don't do the property justice; the cabins, view, restaurant, general facilities were all excellent. The staff was so friendly, and always ready to help. They cleaned the cabin daily and we got banana fritters as snack in the afternoon (still dreaming about them). It was so relaxing in the hammock on the porch, and it wasn't hot with the breeze from the ocean. It was my happy place for a small week. The house reef was colourful and full of fish. In the evening we saw bioluminesence around the cabin in the water. As far as homestays go- this one outshines them (speaking for experience). I'd rather you didn't book so there will always be a place for me, but I understand if you do based on this review :) It has all the ingredients for a wonderful vacation. Thanks, Mario + team.

Resort was very peaceful, beautiful & remote, only a few guests while I was here. room was on the larger side with a nice sitting area that was within 10m of the beach. Diving was amazing... price was on the cheaper side, so overall I am glad I stayed here.

    The location is very beautiful.

The location is very beautiful. Beautiful landscapes, it's a shame that it's starting to become a tourist location. Plastic started appearing everywhere, in the water and on the ground. The locals are only interested in money, they do nothing against plastic pollution. Upon entering the area, you are charged a fee used for the maintenance and development of the area, but I personally have not seen anything in this regard. The prices of products and transport are very high compared to other areas, being justified by the high price of fuel. In my opinion, this fuel price is not as high as the locals claim, being the only reason for the excessively high prices and the desire for profit. The area and location are very beautiful, being places dedicated to nature lovers and especially those passionate about diving and snorkling.

Pulau Mansuar is a somewhat remote island in Raja Ampat (but there are much more remote islenads there), with m,ost of the accmmodations accessible from the beach only with a speedboat - which gives one of the charms of it. The other one is the stunning reef all around the island. Sawaranek is supposed the best, but to tell the trurt, all other places we visited were similar. The Manta point neart to Mansuar should not be missed = but make sure you buy in adnvanve (in Waisai) the - otherwise obligatpry - entry PIN for that.

Best Raja Ampat Homestay is a very simple accommodation by our standards, reasonably clean but you have to make certain compromises. We were there for scuba diving and this was really outstanding. Noldy is a very good divemaster and we dived all the well known spots, but also other not so well-known but no less beautiful dive sites. After 40 years of diving I would like to say that Raja Ampat is the end of a long journey. Unfortunately, there are no planned restrictions on tourism, so we can only hope that this region will be spared development like Egypt.
