Gorgeous old manor house. The staff is lovely and accommodating. The chef is fantastic- the food excellent. The views are of the lakes with swans and other wildlife in abundance. Definitely an old world charm vibe - felt like we were visiting friends who live in the country.

Rossroe Lodge B&B, hotel in Flannery Bridge

This family-run B&B features scenic views of Cashel Bay and cozily furnished rooms with under floor heating and free Wi-Fi.

Rossroe Lodge was lovely in every way! Very appealing layout to ensure privacy, absolutely spotless room with en-suite, and a charming common room with very good selection of books & DVDs. The dining room for breakfast and dinner was bright and airy with windows facing the water! Heated floors and excellent soundproofing offered added comfort, as the weather was chilly and windy. The grounds are well groomed with spectacular blooming flowers. The neighboring property had 4 healthy cows whose lifestyle we enjoyed watching. The bay in front of the property was always visible even in foggy weather: the water is so close to the house! Built up, the dwelling would not flood. Parking was roomy and secure but not visible from the bedrooms. The hosts, Mary and Sylvaine, were the best feature of all. Friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and always respectful of guest privacy. This wonderful couple set the tone for our stay. The breakfasts were delicious as well as the dinners. Mary did laundry for us and offered an apple pie breakfast the morning we left early for Galway Harbor.

Earls View Maxi Pod, hotel in Flannery Bridge

Earls View Maxi Pod is located in Carna and enjoys views of the 12 Pins mountain range and Atlantic.

Beautiful pod in a magnificent part of Connemara. Quiet and remote a shirt walk from the beach. The pod was spotless and had everything we needed. The views were gorgeous and Susie and Tim were a pleasure to meet. The addition of the little outdoor space beside the pod meant that we could sit outside regardless of the weather which was great. Will defo be back it's a beautiful way to switch off and enjoy the surroundings, silence and beauty of the place

A modern detached single level home that had all we needed...

A modern detached single level home that had all we needed for one of our group with restricted mobility and a second person wheelchair dependent. Whole site and home on one level with no steps. House very tranquil, comfortable and well equipped. Owner lives next door and is a wonderful hostess with nothing too much trouble. House is on the Wild Atlantic way so excellent for exploring Connemara and Galway.
