How to start - having spent 15 years in the hotel business, we have stayed in hotels from five to no stars. Quinlan and Cooke stands out above everything I've ever spend time in. A boutique hotel, run by a delightful Irish woman who know how to take care of customers without fuss or muss. Every room is outfitted exactly as you would outfit your own home/bathroom. Excellent amenities, great breakfast delivered directly to your room every morning, fresh fruit, croissants, juice, everything you could desire right at your fingertips. Hotel personnel go out of their way to insure a quiet and comfortable stay. Can't do better than Quinlan and Cooke. And the attached restaurant is outstanding - great menu - best fish and chips in Ireland with an absolutely best trained staff. If you are looking for an outstanding visit to a small town on the Ring Of Kerry, this is it. Kate and her crew are some of the best I've ever seen in all our travels throughout the world. This isn't a corporate hotel experience - this is genuine local boutique hotel run by a professional with exquiste taste and attention to detail. I wish her continued success. One of the best! One more thing, this is not for those who want to be pampered and looked after, this is a hotel for people who travel on their own, know how to take care of themselves, who don't need constant pampering.
