Amazing location, just few minutes from Harbour. We stayed just for one night, but I would definitely go back and spend more days. Beautiful nature, dears around,so quiet and relaxing paradise. The Hut was clean and bed wanderfull,we slept like babies. The owner was amazing, really pleasant place. I definitely recommend for holiday.

We stayed with Bernie to assist to my friend's wedding at Ashley Park Hotel which is only 14 mins away by car. Bernie goes above and beyond making you feel so welcomed. She ensures that you are equiped with all what is needed in your stay; fresh bread, milk, teas & coffess, cereals, I mean everything. We are so glad we stayed at Bernie's, herself and her partner are so nice and kind.

The breakfast was very good, bit a holiday highlight in fact, good variety of foodstuffs, ordering speciality eggs, florentine and salmon for me, and the buffet full Irish alongside.
I was pleased with the leisure facilities; the gym, the only one in Killaloe, is not super polished but is better than average for a hotel for weightlifting equipment, free weights, bars benches and exercise space - enough to keep the local gym goers happy who were the primary users of it. Also decent running machines, a bike or two, and a couple of Concept 2 rowing machines for the cardio folks. The sauna and steam room were great - fortunately they were recently back working again after being out of action for some weeks or months apparently. The pool slide was fun, surprisingly quick. As a swimmer I had no pool safety concerns; I was curious about the deep end depth when chatting to a local in the steam room before using it - 1.5m was clearly signed as expected so the tragic incident a few days later probably wasn't related to that.
Located just off the N7, the Abbey Court features an award-winning restaurant, a modern leisure center and full Irish breakfasts. Free parking is also available.

A really lovely B & B and Norman was kind enough to allow for a late check in which I really appreciated. Very comfortable and clean with a lovely breakfast.
Small town, nearly nothing open in the evenings. Very nice restaurant-pizzeria with excellent quality food (open till 9pm only). If arriving late, make sure you're not hungry. Nearest late takeaway is in Scarrif which is 10-15 minutes drive and is not of a great quality.

Charming and unassuming Lakeside Town.
Charming and unassuming Lakeside Town. Easy to drive to historic and interesting sites. Lots of wooded walks. Walked to the pier through the park where can weave through the stone walled maze and bridges, also a farmer’s market on Saturday. Just a few family run venues along the Main Street were all I needed to enjoy the tastes and friendly warmth of the town. Don’t miss Under The Oak Cafe just off the main road.
