Garden County Glamping, hotel in Newtown Mount Kennedy

Offering a garden, Garden County Glamping offers accommodations in Newtown Mount Kennedy. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

Kevin was the soundest man and made our stay very comfortable. He left loads of fire wood out, gave us red wine and we spent the night gazing at the stars. We made great use of the BBQ for breakfast. The set up is so cosy and warm. We woke up both mornings forgetting we were glamping. Most comfortable bed!! We went to the alpaca trail, Wicklow wolf brewery, devil's glen, glendalough mountains, great sugar loaf. Will definitely be returning as there is so much to see in Wicklow.

Very nice inn in quiet little town just off M11 motorway near Wicklow. We stayed there so we would not have a long drive to Dublin airport in the morning. Fish and chip dinner in restaurant was outstanding and the breakfast in the morning had many options, be sure to try the porridge.

Lovely little town close to the Wicklow mountains. We did the Sally Gap drive and saw lots of deer. Bring binoculars! On the outskirts of the town is the Wicklow Wolf beer premises. Good beer with a nice seating area. Tea, coffee, snacks also available.

Food and staff very nice. Management were in view throughout our stay. B&B was a bit pricey (based on similar hotels we'd booked for this trip) but the lounge menu items were good value, nicely presented and tasty. Beautiful grounds to walk in, including a wood. Nice pool if a little busy. Room large, with large bright window. Hotel has beautiful views over the valley. Location good for touring Wicklow.

In like the hotel, gorgeous bar and restaurant but the rooms could do with an update. The fabric chairs at the table in the room were filthy. Little attention to detail in the bed making made the room appear messy on entering. Curtain lining is destroyed from being caught in the double door. There are no plug sockets by the beds!! Had to charge mobile out of reach across the room during nite.

This resort is 5-star! Our room was large with very comfortable beds. The indoor pool is warm, big, and well maintained (although the floors were quite slippery) and the staff at both the Leisure Center and the hotel are friendly and informed. We had excellent dinners two nights -- one in the main restaurant and lighter fare in the bar area.

Amazing restaurant - quality of food as good as anywhere. Excellent Heath and especially pool area. Great Covid awareness and didn’t impact our stay at all. Friendly & helpful staff. Perfect locality to visit the Wicklow hills or up and down the coast or even Dublin. Our first time would definitely return and highly recommend to anyone.

Room was big and quite quiet. Decent shower and bath facility. Clean and the downstairs bar was good. Breakfast in the main restaurant was nice as opposed to the included breakfast, really get options and very tasty. To be fair we were only staying here to visit the Wicklow Wolf brewery and do the tour. I would recommend this highly.

Facilities were clean, room was a great size, bonus was the patio doors to the small balcony overlooking the park and terrace. Restaurant/bar food was great and good value. Newtownmountkennedy is so central to a lot of local visitor attractions, and this hotels accessibility to the N11 is a big bonus!

Ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant, good food. Very friendly staff, particularly at reception, who went above and beyond to make a taxi reservation for us and then find us in the bar to confirm it was done.
