Stillorgan is predominantly a suburban, residential area so not really for tourists. However it is easily accessible to the city center by bus and also you can take a 15 minute or so walk to the Luas (light rail system) which also brings you to the city center or even Dundrum shopping center which has cinemas, restaurants and mini golf for those rainy days with the kids.

Fabulous old hotel with lots of well preserved history.
Fabulous old hotel with lots of well preserved history. Easy to reach from the N11 coming from the Motorway. Area is lovely and peaceful, had to stay there because of the nearby Embassy which is reachable by walking.

The room was very run down and very old fashioned.
The room was very run down and very old fashioned. Dont know how it has a 5 star rating. I've stayed in 4 star nicer and more modern than it. The noise level was crazy. People from a wedding going in and out if eachothers rooms through the night. We reported it by phone to the duty manager. He offered us a different room but that long into the night we just didn't want too. He also said there was no noise so it was like he was saying we were lying. Put at a drafty terrible table for dinner. Asked to be moved.told no and then witnessed other residents being moved when they asked could they. Will not return.

your hotel was hopeless no heating,no soap liquid or other, ridiculous position of Tea coffee machine and kettle, Italian restaurant only. Had to walik through a kids play area with suitcases to get to elevator. No stopping at front of hotel so long walk with luggage. Breakfast area all chopped up with pillars not enough seats.

I booked the Stillorgan hotel as it was close to our daughter who rents near by and she was able to pick us up and we all travelled together to the musical Grease in Bord Gáis, most enjoyable. Then we all met again for breakfast in the hotel the next morning. So a most enjoyable and convenient time was enjoyed by all.
I've stayed in this hotel during the conference held on the UCD campus. The hotel provides service that could be expected from the 4* facility. It is a decent place with a reasonably good relationship between price and quality. In the vicinity of the hotel, there are stops for bus No 700 traveling from the airport. It is quite convenient and basically using the taxi to get to the hotel is not needed thanks to this option. The bathroom is spacious, with many places to locate your own things.
lovely spacious hotel, good covid hygiene stations, beds were super comfy, roo, was cold when i went in but was able to regulate heat which was great, very clean and fresh room and had everything we needed for overnight stay. The beds were the best beds iv slept in a hotel so had a fab sleep. Staff at reception are super polite and courteous and we didnt avail of dining room due to our personal covid safe choice but this is a lovely hotel where i have stayed before and will again.
The staff here are what makes this hotel exceptional. From front desk, to bar, to the lovely John taking care of us in the morning and during our breaks (I was on a course at the hotel) - every single staff member did their utmost to make us feel welcome and cared for. Kudos to them in these challenging times - running hospitality in a pandemic is no easy task - their care and attention to detail as well as to our safety was very much appreciated!
the property, an elegant old Georgian mansion, was fully decked out for Christmas. It and the staff were lovely. I particularly loved
the atrium bar area where I had a most delicious steak. The room was spacious and well appointed. the property is very well cared for. I loved that you could open the windows and catch that beautiful Irish air. I loved this place.
Room was very spacious and comfortable. Hotel was very clean and quiet, although a little too warm in communal areas. Had dinner in the bar which was excellent. My husband used the gym and this was also very well equipped. Ample parking at hotel, which is free - real bonus in Dublin. Situated on main route into Dublin - excellent location.
Staff efficient, welcoming and helpful. Clean and well managed hotel in location good for us. Free parking was a good bonus. Room well equipped and plenty storage space, comfortable bed too. Bar grill fine for couple of nights but I would have like option of restaurant to entertain friends.
Breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly. Large hotel with plenty of rooms and quiet spaces to be able to work. The hotel mostly caters for its suburban location. The Stillorgan Orchard Gastro Pub was great. The buses are really good and the airport bus goes right to the Talbot Hotel.
Breakfast was the best meal I had during my stay. I had two lunches chosen from the menu in the orangerie. The quality and choices on offer for mains on both days could be much improved going forward with very little effort on your part..I was happy with everything else.
Best value in Dublin. Very big rooms, with comfy beds, and a v helpful staff. The location is perfect as you can get a bus into Dublin City and still close to Stillorgan and Blackrock. In addition, the resto/bar has great food.
The room was big, beautiful and clean. We had desk space and a kettle. They were not upset with us about losing a key card. Everyone was friendly. Breakfast was delicious.
Amazing hotel, lovely room, very friendly staff working there. Lovely room. Great room service. Everything perfect. Highly recommended. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
I like the historical aspect of the hotel, and the staff was very nice. A refrigerator was provided upon request for my room. The bed and the room or very comfy.
This hotel is quite pleasant overall with nice rooms. The location is good and the staff is friendly. nice gym too - one of the better ones I’ve used in a hotel.
gorgeous property! what you expect when you go to Ireland but super close to Dublin - I actually cancelled my hotel in dublin to move it here and SO Glad I did
