A Wonderful place: both very close to the Kineret, and provides a wide angle view over a large area of it. Jacob, the host, was very helpful with directions and recommendations, and generous with his own produce (we got dates, grapefruit juice, and an offer for greens from his garden). His stories were entertaining and informative, about this historic house and area, a famous song that Naomi Shemer wrote in the house, and some army stories. We enjoyed very much.

The Camping Site Hamat Gader features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 13 miles of St. Peter's Church and 13 miles of Tomb of Maimonides.
