I spent my time within an ayurvedic retreat complex, therefore, did not venture out of bounds. Tips: 1. Do purchase a Sim card on arrival at Kochi Int'l airport, the wifi connections are unreliable. 2. Do exchange home currency to IND Ruppees also, on arrival within the airport lounge at one of the available Currency Exchange counters of Kochi Int'l. Experience revealed that outside of the airport, it was difficult to locate currency exchange bureaus also, the ATMs outside of the airport ask high exchange rates. Nedumbassery is a small town. The only importance to this place is the airport of Kochi, Kerala. The place has no decent vegetarian restaurant. Travelers particularly vegetarians are put to a lot of difficulties. Those restaurants that offer veg food items cause a lot of discomfort to veggies because of the foul smell of non veg dishes. Location to the airport was my only savior and unfortunately if there had been somewhere decent to eat and the hotel facilities were functioning I may have had a better stay. The day prior to my departure I checked if there was transfers to the airport and manager advised free pick up I organised a time for pick up and when I went to check out and was ready to go the pick up had not been organised lucky I had given myself plenty of time at the airport !!

Cochi is a good city to visit and it's best to stay in nedumssery, close to airport and other transport. Very good churches, temples around and ofcourse taste the delicious Kerela food. Try the Kerela ayurvedic massage nearby and also take a day trip to Munnar, 120 KM's away..malayaIndia

We arrived late but the staff opened the executive lounge especially for us and we had a very good freshly made snack and the best wine in the whole of our trip to India! The staff are so friendly and efficient and provided extra towels immediately. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. They also arranged a free airport transfer for our friends who were not staying at the hotel. Best airport hotel I have ever stayed in!

My suite had a small balcony, plenty of greenery outside and a view over fields, so it felt more relaxed and rural than your typical airport hotel The hotel restaurant offered a good selection of dishes at a reasonable price and the airport shuttle was very convenient. I'd recommend it and definitely stay there again.
