We like very much the city of Alessandria.
We like very much the city of Alessandria. There are many things around to visit and we will be coming back. Alessandria has many small restaurants, good book stores and people are very friendly. It's easy to get around and the atmosfere of the city is really nice. I particulary like the architecture of the city and we always stop to have coffy or to eat. It's wonderful to come back.

There are many spots in the city you can visit by foot...
There are many spots in the city you can visit by foot avoiding the heat wave after lunch time. If you like the culture, there are a couple of museums in the centre (the museum about Borsalino can be an option). In case you prefer to visit a church, there are many to choose or a historical site like the citadella (for free, but needs work of conservation). Inside the citadella, there is a free entrance museum about the weapons and uniforms used by the Italian army and well explained and detailed information about it (only in Italian). For lunch and dinner, any option in the centre should be good.angeldrm2Spain

The room and a small balcony as well providing nice light in the morning. We could park our car right in front of the Hotel, which was very much appreciated after a long ride. The crew was very nice and available to help with anything. The Hotel is not far from the center and Alessandria deserves at least of few hours of your time. The breakfast was abundant and the choices were all of high quality, including a gluten free alternative specially obtained. The fabric of .the hotel was pleasantly from a distinguished era but well maintained and very comfortable. Highly recommended.
