Staff was very helpful, kind, and willing to offer local hiking suggestions. The room and overall Castel restoration were great. My room actually had a preserved bird's nest behind glass to make sure no birds were left homeless in the course of the renovation. High-quality materials throughout. An elevator! Vintage Cinquecento at the entrance.

We visited in spring. The place is situated on top of a mountain and the scenery is spectacular.
There are cute dogs and horses neighing.
The restaurant in the inn is also very good and I recommend eating there.

During the off season this is a quiet place with nice views of the valley. Connected by a few road options to the surrounding villages. Felt like a good place in the valley to be able to drive around easily. Very quiet and peaceful.
