I had a nice, peaceful time. I do a lot of writing and so it was the perfect respite (for me) to just be alone after an intense week of river fly fishing with a friend/guide. Everything I needed and more was there, the minimalist decor was to my liking and the neighbors were overly-friendly and generous with food and wine.
My hosts were the best...he, a technical person/me a successful technology entrepreneur and Allessandra was just wonderful to me. They took me to a doctor as my hand swelled from ant bites previously acquired and soon cleared. Perfect.
The location is remote, in the mountains with great views and they provided me with a bike to go into their little town for provisions. If you're looking for a peaceful break from the rat-race well...you've found it.
