We were there for our 15 year wedding anniversary since we were dating there and decided to get married. We just relived the experience and it was amazing!

Great location with a beautiful view with free parking on site for guests which was key for us since we had a car. The bed was an actual king bed and not two twins pushed together! And the room and bathroom was very clean. The mini bar with free water bottles stocked daily was a pleasant surprise as well.

Great place if you want to be a bit away from the crowds or play golf in L'Albenza Golf Club. Very friendly, helpful and flexible hosts. Extremely clean and well kept rooms. The restaurant is also excellent. Great views of the valley and you feel super safe up there.

Trekking (anywhere) is generally easy and with good views on both sides of the mountain (towards Lecco you will see the many lakes in the area; on Bergamo's side I would advice the '3 faggi (3 beeches)' walk).
One hidden gem, 30 mins drive towards Bergamo is Arnosto (in Fuipiano), a beautiful small hamlet which marked the mountain border in the XVII century between the dukedom of Milan and the Venetian Republic, whose custom offices were hosted in the still visible buildings.
