Deiva Marina is a nice smaller town by the sea, which is very clean. The town lays in the valley surrounding by green mountains. There is an excellent train connection through coast, you can comfortably go to Cinque Terre, La Spezia, Portofino, Genoa.

Very nice small city. Perfect to stay 2-3 days maximum if you are at the hotel (don't know for camping). Food is good lot of sea food for sure but quite expensive to compare with Italian price. We stayed for a weekend (one night), wanting to stay for more. The staff was very friendly and educated, the room was good and comfortable and the breakfast also very pleasant. We loved our stay. This is a beautiful and quiet hotel. We had a lovely room with an ocean view. This little village has excellent restaurants near by and is an easy trip to Cinque Terra. Our hosts were wonderful. Everything was perfect.

Its very Italian with no concessions to other tastes ... a good thing. Not a lot going on at all but it will lively up enough in season . Sunshine always helps and we could have done with more to be honest . Could do with more restaurants but its only a wee place ... the hotel restaurant would be.very hard to beat/

The hotel itself is very clean and accommodating, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! 4 mins walk to the train station to go into the Cinque Terre towns. Best thing about the hotel is the staff who were extremely friendly and went out of the way to help us with everything we needed. Deiva Marina is one of the quite towns on the seaside, but it has lots of restaurants, a supermarket and marvellous walking seaside.
