We stayed in the poolside villa, and it was amazing. The drive up the mountain reminds me of the Italian Alps, and once at the property, the views are beautiful - especially at night.
The one bedroom suit was recently remodeled and is stunning. The bed was comfortable, AC worked well, and we had a full kitchen.
We swam in the pool, walked the large property, roamed the olive groves, and ate at an amazing restaurant in this small town. The owner, Enrico, is a perfect host and very accommodating. Cook in the kitchen, outside grill, or ask him for restaurant recommendations.
Villa Maria Cristina is a modern hotel with a summer swimming pool and an elegant restaurant. It is a 5-minute walk to Caserta Train Station and 10 minutes' walk from the Royal Palace.

We stayed here while visiting a famous pizzeria in town. Room was clean, comfortable. Nice staff. Breakfast excellent. They allowed us the safety of their parking garage while we visited the Caserta Royal Palace for the day.
