This unit was so well appointed and stylish it was like staying at a Ritz-Carlton and the host went above and beyond to make it an amazing stay. Not only did she help us with lunch reservations when we arrived at an odd time, but she helped reunite us with some of our long lost family. What a beautiful place and lovely break from the bustle of Rome.

We really enjoyed our stay in Casoli at Casa Borelli! The host was attentive and friendly, including able to assist with making dinner plans and call since we did not have cellular. The room was absolutely beautiful and well appointed and comfortable. Would recommend!

B&B Lo Gnomo, hotel in Fara San Martino

B&B Lo Gnomo is a refurbished 19th-century farmhouse, located in Pennapiedimonte, a part of the Maiella National Park.

We had a wonderful stay and we highly recommend the place. The entire place was beautifully decorated and very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our host Antonella was great and extremely accommodating and gave us recommendations on the area and even checked open hours for a few locations (it was low season) The town is beautiful and well worth the visit. Scenic views were impressive and the drive to get to the town is beautiful.

While Fara San Martino is a small town, we really enjoyed our time there and are eager to go back as three days was not enough. We hiked the gorges, checked out the Del Verde river, wander the town, enjoyed breakfast, drinks and cocktails at Hansel e Gretel, had delicious treats at Pasticceria Pizzeria Monte Amaro, a wonderful dinner at La Villetta, and wandered up to Civitella Messer Raimondo.
