The staff was amazingly helpful, they helped us with ancillary activities and recommended the places to visit. Le vecchie Cantine itself is a wonderful place, in the heart of little Italian town Chianni where the time seems to stop... The room had beautiful arches and furniture seeming to date old times, but it was equipped with XXI century conveniences such as air conditioning. Perfect combination! The food was delicious and waiters helpful with making a choice from food and an extensive wine list. Fully recommend!

Great place and clean, close to Pisa/Lucca/Florence. We were family of 4 and enough space in the 2 rooms upstairs for sleeping. We stayed 2 nights and highly recommend the place. Place was warm although it was fairly cold overnight.

it’s an excellent property with lovely grounds and great staff. Sabina gives a wonderful cooking class and Manuela is a ray of sunshine. the 2 bedroom apartment is very comfortable for two couples, with all necessary amenities. We were given excellent suggestions for restaurants and towns nearby. I wish we could have stayed longer

The hosts were very kind and helpful. They answered our questions about restaurants and other details. We loved the view from the balcony. The well equipped l kitchen came in handy when I had to make dinner Sunday night because the restaurants were closed. Thank goodness right down stairs there is a small market to purchase food. The apartment was in the center of a Tuscan village so a very beautiful and authentic experience staying there.
