Staff is extremely nice, courteous and helpful. The location is superb, close to the center. And it was great to have nearby, inexpensive parking for our car.

I had a nice view of the lake from my room. The room was clean and tidy, though the layout was a bit old.
The hotel serves breakfast for free and paid dinner in the evening.
In overall, it was a pleasant stay.
Hotel Santanna is set on the west shore of Lake Maggiore between Intra and Pallanza, close to the ferry port for the Borromee Islands. It features an excellent restaurant.

the room was nice and can see view of Varese, the restaurant in the hotel it’s amazing food. I love the staff very nice and helpful.

Stresa is a small town so everything is close and walking is easy to get back and forth. The view from the room was okay but we were on the second floor and had lots of issues with our room (see below) and the staff.
