Cozy upstairs apartment comprising the bedroom with queen bed, wardrobe, and desk, on the landing, the narrow kitchen up another small flight of stairs, and the bathroom - spacious for the size of the vacation apartment - behind. Parking freely available up the hill to the S where all the other cars are parked. Comfortable bed.
Angelo and Anna are EXCELLENT hosts! Angelo asked when we wanted breakfast, and after we said “8:30” each morning without fail he showed up with two hot cornetti. They had stocked the fridge ahead of time with water, fresh fruit, and yogurt, and had bread and taralli on the table. They only speak Italian, but if you don’t know it, use your translator app.
The house is in the small, quiet country village of Possidente, c. 20 minute drive N of Potenza. Great for getting away. There are two very good restaurants nearby - Piccola Ponte in Possidente, and La Taverna in Castel Lagopesole an 8-minute drive up the road.
24 miles from National Archaeological Museum in Acerenza, MANTRA Suite&Rooms features accommodations with access to spa facilities and wellness packages.

We spent three wonderful nights in this sleek, modern hotel located in the amazing, ancient town of Acerenza. The bed was super comfortable, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was in a nice little bar next door, run by a very sweet lady, and parking was right next door to it. Everything was perfect. With the few questions we had, the host Daniele was always available and quick to respond, and very, very kind. We wish we could have stayed longer, and we will definitely return.
