We were delighted to find that our hotel was actually inside the castle walls. We were steps away from cafes, restaurants and great little shops. The views from around the castle walls were fantastic.
We were greeted by warmly by Simone who told us where to park and a little about the area and the hotel. Breakfast was amazing and the hotel was warm and charming.
Highly recommend.

It’s an Walking distance to train station and a few restaurants. Longer walk to old city but very doable, if you’re good with walking. The restaurants in the castle/old city were really nice with fantastic views. We loved the sunset from the castle. The hotel Staff is great, they are cheerful and helpful. Rooms are pretty nice, breakfast is continental but the make nice coffee. We rented e-bikes and biked the entire lake which was a highlight.

The host was lovely and helpful, recommending the restaurant and whats around us. She was great to communicate and speaks french english and italian. The location is amazing, surrounded by the toscan mountains and plains. The house is huge and beautiful, well conserved and renovated. Truly what we expected out of the toscan region.
