Close to the cities we wanted to visit (Sanremo, Monaco, nice, Dolceaqua, Bajardo, Bussana Vecchia, Imperia)
To our surprise 2 bikes belonged to the apartment, and the seaside bike road runs literally 20m from the apartment.
The apartmant is really clean and spacious for even 5 people with comfortable beds. Our host Rodolfo was very helpful and friendly explaining everything. (There was some welcome wine and local cake and the ladies in our company received some gift upon leaving.)
The beatch is cca 200m all free in Riva Ligure and nearby San Lorenzo. Plenty of restaurants and a Lidl shop is nearby 300-400m.
I was a bit afraid of how to park the car in the traffic of the SS1 road, but the entrance to the parking place in the apartment is wide enough

The outdoor evening dining experience was very enjoyable. Breakfasts which included a wide range of choices were excellent. The room was very comfortable and the view was what we hoped for.
Located in a quiet yet central neighborhood of Sanremo, Hotel Riviera is 492 feet from Sanremo Casino and 5 minutes' walk from the seaside. Its simple rooms offer free Wi-Fi.

Riva is ancient fishing village yet a hidden gem but easy to get to via public transport. Lots of Italian vibe in the Main Street especially in the bars & restaurants along the seafront. Not many tourists in May, meant it was pretty tranquil and felt much more authentic than neighbouring places. The longest cycle /walking track in Europe is just minutes from the seafront & the centre, plus a very long promenade that goes from Riva Grange to Santo Stefano is great for sauntering. It’s a pescatarian’s heaven, ate really well in many of the local restaurants - La Lanterna, La Scogliera, Dalle Padella all Brace. Leandro, and Osteria Delma Salute. Loved the atmosphere in the Caffe del Corso on football evenings. Very cool. Blissful.
