Very nice small island with pleasant walks.
Very nice small island with pleasant walks. The short boat trip to San Nicola was enjoyable though there monastery/castle there were pretty much ruined and indoor condition. We went very early in the season which meant the islands were nice an quit - we'd not have wanted to be there in July and August (thought we did have quite a few noisy school trips). Very few people spoke English, but the one or two that did were helpful, and very few signs/tourist info boards were in English. We were unlucky with the weather and there's not much to do in the rain. Fortunately we had enough sunny spells to get out and about. Local bars and restaurants were good. The two beaches are small and I imagine very full in the summer. Looked like there are plenty of opportunities to hire boats, paddle boards etc. For an out of season break three or at most four nights would be good.

One can walk to the village with a typical alimentari/baker, restaurants and bars in 10 minutes. It is a nice walk and from the veranda of the cottage you can see the Adria. Paola is a very nice and helpful person, it is a nice place to enjoy the Tremiti islands.

We enjoyed breakfast at his bar near the accomodation. Isola tremiti is a wonderfull place to relaxe and have nice holidays. We can recommend this Hotel and eventually come back.RobertAustria

And they take serious precautions relating to COVID. The location is very good, next to the heliport and ten minutes walk from both the port and the village.
