Villa Dei Misteri, hotel in San Marzano sul Sarno

Just 5 minutes from the archaeological site, this hotel takes its name from the ruins of an ancient Pompeian villa located on the same street.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Otherwise this place was a dump unfortunately. Close to the train station and the ruins which is why we booked it.

San Marzano sul Sarno as a destination is good for its central location giving ease of access to other places. The area itself is very busy and quite built up. There are plenty of shops and restaurants but parking can be difficult as it is in most places in Italy.
