A local person directed us to the apartment after we forgot to download the map. Margherita welcomed us at the door and was very gracious to answer all our questions. It was a lovely place with restaurants, grocery store and amazing sites to see within easy walking distance. We really enjoyed this retreat after walking for many days on the trails of Sentiero 1. Margherita arrived in the morning with a delicious breakfast of baked goods and coffee. It was a wonderful place to stay.

The breakfast was very good. There was a restaurant a short distance from the b&b that was very good also. If it's dark, you need to drive to the restaurant because the road is very dark and narrow. But this is a lovely place to stay.

We arrived by foot on the Sentiero 1 trail and Geraldo was keeping in touch all afternoon to make sure we found our way to the B&B. He met us up the road and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and well cared for. It was a true pleasure to spend a full rest day at the B&B. This is a family run business that includes a Pizzaria and bar upstairs. There is a big grocery store a km away and we cooked our own meal one night. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes etc. and this was the only B&B in my month in Italy that had a small clothes washing machine. A real bonus. This is a very spacious apartment a km from Contursi Terme. Bravo and buon lavoro to Geraldo, his family and staff.
