We enjoyed our stay at Antica Bottega di Vinci very much. The place is very beautiful, clean, quiet, traditional and has a beautiful view from the property over Tuscan hills (just what you want to see when going to Tuscany!). It's located a little outside of Vinci, so prepare for a curvy drive uphill.
The owners are amazing and warm people, that helped us a lot when our car battery was empty and went our of their way to help us. Every morning we enjoyed a lovely, cute breakfast prepared by the host, and received as many recommendations as we wished for. I can absolutely recommend this place.

Everything! Updated rooms with everything you need.
Breakfast was delicious, pastries are made there.
The best part was the restaurant on site with delicious food at a reasonable price and great affordable wine. .
Staff was very friendly as well. Our 3 year old daughter enjoyed the pool and the swing set at the property.

The house and hospitality by the host family set new standards. We have been welcomed with a bottle of local wine and received many other home made surprises during our stay. The terraces for your happy hour offer a view over Tuscany and so does the house itself. It is the perfect place for remote work thanks to impeccable WIFI and ideally located for easy trips to Florence, Pisa, Siena, Lucca and other cities not to miss. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.
Vinci is special. The Leonardo da Vinci museums are extremely interesting and also the villa where he was born. The town is charming with ancient villas, and fabulous vistas. The people are really nice, friendly and helpful. Also there are wonderful restaurants.

I love this town.
I love this town. Rural enough to be off the beaten path with easy access by car (or bus) to Florence and Pisa. We loved the area. Wine and food abound. Seriously. Go to La Becherria for a great meal (or anywhere, really) and be sure to get some wine tasting in at the little spot at the corner. Read about Peter Dent and Da Vinci's horse and enjoy the trails between the olive trees and vinyards.

I have always been a huge Leonardo fan and visiting Vinci has long been on my bucket list. But on previous trips to Italy I had not been able to work it out. This time I made it a priority and I was not disappointed. Anyone who is an admirer of Leonardo's genius needs to see this town, the museums dedicated to him, the home he was born in and the museum dedicated to his artwork. The town itself is quaint and the people who live there are friendly and helpful. There are a number of good restaurants, including the one at the Leonardo museum. I highly recommend this place.

I'm writing about Leonardo, so I wanted to soak up as much of his energy as possible for inspiration. I spent a long time at his birth house in Anchiano. You can call for a shuttle from the Tourist office to take you and pick you up. Franco drove me there and picked up at the exact time I requested. The museums are wonderful and diverse!

As birthplace of one of the most influential historical...
As birthplace of one of the most influential historical personalities Leonardo da Vinci it is worth to be seen. The small town (still) is a very quiet place. We think that the museum seems to be very superficial. It does not lead you into the times when Leonardo was born, nor does it show any of his - maybe first - writings or sketches.
However it was nice to stay at the square of the museum and having a morning coffee in the bar in the house.
The B&B is located in a beautiful place surrounded by green hills in between some of the most famous cities of Tuscany. Donatella, the owner, is amazing: she treats guests as part of her family, prepares a great breakfast and find a way to let the satisfied at all. I spent just a single night in the B&B but I will try to organize another vacation soon, maybe n the late summer or in fall. This place is a break from the caos of the city and enchanting!
The property is gorgeous and easily-accessible from Florence. It’s a great location to stay somewhere a bit away from everything, but also be able to drive easily to Florence, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, and other locations in the northern half of Tuscany. The property matches the pictures, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious, with the option for fresh cooked eggs. The restaurant recommendations for dinner were excellent.
The amazing view from the balcony.
The hosts were helpful in everything we needed.
The house was simple, yet comfortable and had more than everything we needed for our stay. The room is enormous with two big beds. The swimming pool and air conditioning were wonderful considering we were there during a heat wave.
The location is convenient for visiting Florence and Pisa and nearby Vinci was wonderful for evening strolls.
Spacious house a couple hundred meters from the Da Vinci museum. Two double bedrooms and two single bedrooms on the first floor + 1 additional double sofa bed in the attic. Two bathrooms (one on first floor, one in attic). Big kitchen, very well equipped. Efficient, silent air conditioning in every room. Easy parking on the street in front of the house.
Perfect place for a family with children in quite place of Tuscany. Very friendly and nice staff and great wine, which maked the stay comfortable. The accomodation included a rich breakfast, with excellent local pastries (they also offered dinner, which we didn’t try, but looked very tasty aswell). Thanks you for a wonderful time spent at your place.
We planned touring Tuscany by car and this was a very good location for Florence, Sienna, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa and as far south as Cortona. It's an old working winery and their wins are very nice - well stocked and reasonably priced mini-bar! The staff are very good and great chats at breakfast before heading off into the countryside.
Great location, overlooking the lovely town of Vinci and very friendly staff. Two complimentary bottles of wine were very much appreciated. A bottle of olive oil from own olive grove really topped it off!
Be sure to take the route as suggested by the staff. The alternative route is way too challenging, even for your rental car :)
Everything was wonderful. the restaurant was amazing and we ate there every night. it’s in the country and has the charm of Tuscany but it’s only 10 minutes from the train station and a quick trip into Florence. great location to show people both without losing time on travel.
Location is good. Especially if you wanna go to the Vinci museum or walking in a little town. We were on the trip from Rome to Milano and wanted to do this and stay a night in a little bit different place in countryside. We got it. And suprisingly was our room a balcony.
Breakfast was included, which is good, although it's always the same thing. But I'm okay with it. The neighborhood is quiet. The distance to the main Vinci is a 10-minute walk. There is easy street parking. Lorenzo tried to assist me a lot. Thank you, Lorenzo.
It was a fantastic stay and wonderful setting! Very relaxing and the hostess was very lovely. Vinci is 5 minutes by car and a cute town, but the property is so lovely we didn't even want to leave. In fact, the only downside was that we had to leave for meals!
We liked the eqipment of the rooms, great location, beautiful view, responsiveness and kindness of owners. From Vinci is 1 hour or less to major sights: Firence, Pisa, San Gimignani, Lucca...
The owner is extremely nice and helpful. We arrived late and there was no problem with that. Good wines and olive oil of their own production. The apartment was large and very clean.
The pure description of Tuscany. This accomodation has a great view, a great architecture, super comfy rooms and a nice pool. There is so much space around the villa it is amazing.
