The host Lucy was waiting for us when we arrived, she gave us keys and a tour of the guest house. It was clean, spacious and everything was there that we needed. When we had a couple questions the host answered promptly. There is a coin laundry on the corner and a 7-11. Also just one block away is a coffee house that serves a wonderful pancake breakfast and a full service grocery store next to that had plenty of ready made food.

The hotel and staff were great. The hotel itself has a classic look and feel to it, which I like. Very spacious, comfortable rooms which are not that common for hotels in Tokyo. The location is great, right in the Hachioji center.

This was our first experience at a Japanese Love Hotel. I liked the privacy and discreteness of the property. We didn’t see the staff’s faces and they didn’t see ours. Anonymity maintained!
