I had a wonderful time. I was greeted warmly by a very kind and enthusiastic staff member and the room was even better than I expected. It was equipped with everything you might need, from toothbrush to sleep wear and even a tea set, so it's perfect for a one night trip from e.g. Kagoshima City to Chiran. The room is quite big. The little table facing the window invited me to work on some of my projects with my laptop, and I was able to focus well thanks to the room's relaxing and minimalistic atmosphere.

Spacious and comfortable for large family. Very responsive and helpful owner. Free parking.

Cozy guesthouse in a rejuvenated old Japanese house. The location is perfect with only a few minutes of walk from Makurazaki station where you would start a full day of railway journey. The staff is polite and helpful, recommended to me a good dining spot. Unfortunately I was the only guest at that night and didn’t get to talk to others, which I do enjoy every time I stay in a guesthouse.

Futon bed - one of the comfiest I slept in during my 3 months in Japan. Owner - She was nice enough to drive me to the closest onsen after I arrived following a 85km cycle. Food - Really nice jerk chicken, not something you’d expect to find in southern Kyushu

The staff is nice and helpful! The room was clean and spacious! Truly soundproof too, I did not hear anything ♨️💕! There is a drinks vending machine outside the hotel and there are also free hot drinks 24/7 in the reception 😊 The WiFi was great! TV worked great! Absolutely no trouble! The staff called to check what time I'd like breakfast and was very accomodating to my dietary restrictions! 🙏 The breakfast was so yummy too! Bring some food and then there is a fridge, kettle and a microwave - you can do a lot with that 😊 It's quite a nice and calm nature spot! Great views from balcony! Right next to Kinkowan Park! 🚀🌹There is also a tiny beach that is by the Hirakawa Yacht Harbor around ~25minutes walk! Good spot to get in touch with nature 😊 Please note: I stayed solo as a tourist! Getting here was quite a challenge, this was my bad for not checking out the surroundings/public transport before booking! By public transport closest I could get was 25 minute walk away (Goino Station) - this was a very difficult walk with a big suitcase! At the time of writing there appears to be no uber in Kagoshima, so taxi might be hard for tourists without a Japanese phone number 🙏 I asked hotel to book me a taxi to Kagoshimachuo on the check-out day, as always they were accomodating, was so nice of them to help! 😊 Truly fantastic staff 💓 Also: There does appear to be a bus in the area too but I haven't figured out where to or from it goes and it does not appear on Google 😅 So, worth looking into!

Great location, clean room, comfortable bed and good room size, staff are friendly and helpful, free car parking is convenient.

We had an amazing stay! The glamping site is peaceful, right by the river, with beautiful views and nature all around. It’s perfect for relaxing or being active. The place is pet-friendly—we stayed with our cat, and the owners’ dog was super cute and friendly. The owners and staff were kind and helpful, giving great tips about local activities. The room was spacious, clean, and well-designed, with a lovely walk-in shower. We loved the terrace and small garden for privacy and views. The outdoor shower was great after exercise. Breakfast and picnic options were delicious. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Highly recommend for couples, families, or friends.

Upon our arrival we have been greeted by the owner, a very lovely person, who made an effort to make us feel comfortable. Despite a language barrier, he made an effort to use Google translator and speak with us Polsih. The owner provides guests with tickets to enter for free a nearby onsen and some recommendations to eat good food. The place used to a restaurant and it has been converted into a guest accommodation. It has everything you need if you want to cook yourself. Lovely view over the front garden and overall a great and comfortable place to stay. The location is rather on the outskirts of Kagoshima however this was not of a problem for as we were commuting by car and knew where we will stay.
