Absolutely amazing experience. This place exceeded our expectations in all aspects.
We spent 3 nights in the “Deluxe Villa” (“C”), a 66 m2 wooden house amidst the subtropical forest of Southern Okinawa. On arrival, we were greeted by Ken, the manager, who gave us a clear overview and recommendations for things to do and to eat in the area. He also showed us two e-bikes, which can be used free of charge during the stay. The place has a beautiful natural garden, which goes all the way up the hill with a great view.
The house/villa had a modern, sophisticated style, comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen area, own parking space and - most importantly - a balcony with stunning sea view.
We were extremely lucky that our stay coincided with the local, small-scale (food truck) festival which took place on the premises of Villa Sachibaru. A fantastic local experience.
We will definitely be back.

Be sure to make reservations for lunch and a massage!! The lunch cafe is like an art museum with a view as beautiful as the breakfast cafe. And the whole spa experience is incredibly relaxing. Allow plenty time. Ride the e-bikes to the nearby beach cafe for an early dinner (curry) with your feet in the sand. Ask how to find it. The sign is kind of hidden in a passageway from a parking lot to the beach. Charlies’s is another cute, authentic Okinawan cafe for dinner.

The beach is beautiful and the people delightful. It's good to have a car as it makes it much easier to get around. There's a lot to do - great cafes and restaurants, boat trips, a night-time jungle hike and some excellent museums. The Prefectural Peace Museum and Himeyuri Museum are wonderful
