hanare, hotel in Yamanashi

It's a beautiful and well-maintained home with a large, open, shared area. The futon beds and linens were very comfy (we stayed two nights). The host was exceptionally accommodating! He made delicious breakfasts for us, helped us make lunch and dinner reservations, and even drove us to wineries!

Bear in mind that this is a local Japanese style onsen resort? Like it mainly caters to locals on day trips or maybe a 2 night stay. It was undergoing some upgrading while I was there so it was not probably the best time to visit. The onsens were nice. For the price you are paying is definitely value for money but this is a no frills onsen resort so manage expectations
