Arsulana Eco Lodge & Spa, hotel in Ginigathena

Arsulana Eco Lodge & Spa features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Ginigathena.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Arsulana Eco Lodge & Spa during our travels in Sri Lanka, and it was an experience that truly stood out. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the lodge's exceptional setting, nestled in a breathtaking location that promises both tranquility and a touch of adventure. The accommodations at Arsulana are second to none, with each detail meticulously designed to ensure comfort and cleanliness. The lodge itself blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings, enhancing the feeling of escape from the everyday hustle and bustle. What really elevated our experience was the quality of the food and service. Every meal was a delight, featuring a variety of local and international dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The flavors were rich and memorable, making each dining experience a culinary adventure. The staff at Arsulana deserves every bit of praise. They were genuinely the most friendly and attentive team we have encountered in our travels. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel at home from the outset. It's rare to find such a committed team, and their enthusiasm and dedication were apparent in every interaction. Special recognition goes to Ashley, the lodge manager, whose personal touch made our stay exceptionally pleasant. He went out of his way to ensure that all our needs were met, from arranging special activities to offering insightful tips about exploring the local area. His efforts truly made our experience the best it could be. Having stayed in four different hotels while in Sri Lanka, Arsulana Eco Lodge & Spa set a remarkably high standard that other places simply couldn't match. We still find ourselves talking about how it was the highlight of our trip. We wholeheartedly recommend Arsulana Eco Lodge & Spa to anyone looking for a unique and luxurious experience in Sri Lanka.

Staff was super friendly and approachable. I also liked their food which felt a lot cleaner than other foods we had in Sri Lanka. Like less oily etc. also absolutely loved having the option to go into the fresh river pond where you can see clear water and tiny fish. It was really cool and refreshing.

After a long day of hiking, my wife and I really enjoyed relaxing in the plunge pool and steam room. The staff (Mohammad and Vijay) were very responsive and helpful. We never made it to them because of Coronavirus.

We never made it to them because of Coronavirus. They asked us to pay in advance via bank transfer and it turns out we paid that and got charged again by booking.com. We contacted booking.com and they couldn’t help us. They completely conned us and we were asked to pay twice. Such a shame. We were so excited about going there.
