Location is accessible, near ella and the coast which is good, sets in a very beautiful land of rice fields with breathtaking views, we had a very beautiful nature and agriculture immersed experience, the restaurant is really good and the pool is amazing with an amazing view over the rice fields.

We had a wonderful stay. Great for couples and families. Pleasant rooms which was clean and well maintained. Good value for money. And the place is also very convenient. Just few meters from the Ella-Wellawaya main road. The woman who's taking care of the property is very kind and helpful. We had a delicious morning tea as well. We had low signal issues with my WIFI router and when asked they immediately provided their WIFI with good speed. Triple room consists of Dialog TV, A/C and hot water. Overall I'm very happy with the stay. Thanks for the host.

the location is quiet and Bindu’s wife is an amazing host! She welcomed me with a fresh juice and I had a delicious dinner. the bed is comfortable and the AC works accordingly. also good wifi and a perfect coffee in the morning. Really enjoyed my stay here! Would highly recommend!

Amazing clean home stay located in a peaceful village nearby a lake. Run by some really kind staff who are extremely accommodating! They are able to provide everything you need and cook tasty meals upon request. Also have options to see wild elephants, visit local village, or go on a boat ride. I injured my knee before arriving and they also took me to see a special Ayurvedic doctor. Would absolutely stay again!

Thomasha as well as his wife and children were very friendly. We had dinner at his place twice and breakfast once all meals were very good and reasonably priced. He provided a free tuk tuk ride into town for me to buy beers. He took us in his tuk tuk to the waterfalls and guided us there as well as took us too the temple which his his children accompanied us all for a very good price.
Very friendly family. Also local places nearby to buy breakfast or fruit drinks. The area was also quiet at night.

The cottage is in the best location, right on front of the fall! Amazing Upali, good host, showed us hidden spots around diyaluma fall and made our 24 hours with him very fun! We had breakfast and dinner, fair prices and huge portion and diversity! Very very tasty! If we would know, we would have booked more than one night to see more of the area!
Hotel staff must be polite and truthful. Guides must know the routes otherwise. We were lost in the jungle several times and some paths we travel I don't recommend for female travelers. There was no food nor chef. Nearest town is more than 20km away. And villagers disturbed us at night we were very scared and didn't even slept. And about paasi ella 10 km hike is not worthy for that. Overall waste of money and time

Wellawaya is an untouched paradise.
Wellawaya is an untouched paradise. Much nicer than busy and polluted ella . The accommodation in the area is set in a lush tropical setting without the billboards and tourists. We loved it most out of the 12 days we spent in sri Lanka
