1) This is a spacious, spectacularly beautiful 14th-floor apartment in a 20-story high rise.
2) We loved the good views: of the port from the apartment, and of other portions of the city from an open-access balcony across the hall. We enjoyed taking photos from both vantage points.
3) Lots of drawers and cupboards for storage.
4) Well-furnished kitchen.
5) For those driving a car, the parking arrangement is a huge plus: the apartment renter has exclusive access to a designated space in the underground parking garage beneath the building.
6) Although for some travelers it might be a disadvantage, we rather enjoyed that the host had us contact her and then meet us at the foot of the building to get; it was nice to get to know her and to have her walk us through the apartment.
7) It was not far from the ferry to Curonian Spit National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
