A lot of places to go for a walking outdoor as the Birute park, seaside, main street etc. Visit the Amber Museum, Concer hall and whatever you want. Try Lithuanian cuisine specialities as ceppelines, cold beetroot soup, potato pancakes with meat filling, different kinds of local fish, berries, cabbage rolls with chopped meat. Great activities for the kids. Has everything, especially the amusement park area. Beach, parks, all really nice. Could use a bit more clothing stores for men's stuff. Plenty of great women's and kids' boutiques. Only hated seeing every family at every restaurant, or every teen working at a bike rental, on their phone though. The whole country is badly addicted. Location - perfect : very close to the beach and restaurants. Parking space costs +10eur and was just " around the corner" - very close to the hotel and safe. Room was spacious and clean.
