The garden is nice, however the place itself isn't the greatest for the value.
Sigulda castle from outside is enough. Spent much more time in Turraida castle with many houses from the region (price the same and much more to see).
In weekends during summer try bobsleigh. Amazing experience!

Very beautiful and rather small town in Vidzeme. I can say the most beautiful town during the fall season. There are very nice spots for obsevation and many interesting activities in which you can participate.
It's good chose for family trip and trips with pets. There are a lot of hiking trails, historical paces such as Siguldas Castle and Turaides Castle, very beautifyl river side of Guaja river, a lot ot places for piknik.

An area in Latvia known for kayaking, hiking, walking and visiting the Turaida castle and Tarzans park for kids and adults alike. Wonderful views from the river banks. I've been there many times and will go back again next time.

Sigulda has very many interesting attractions - bobslade track, cable car to Krimulda, Turaida castle, Gutmans cave, Gauja river, Ramkalni attractions. It has exceptional nature around Gauja valley, good for hiking or canoing, lot of hiking trails. Nice vegan food in Stirna&Avocado at Janis Tirgus.

Nice castle area in Sigulda.
Nice castle area in Sigulda. There is also cable car if you are into such activity. Bridge with national flags of Latvia is a perfect place for photos. The town itself rather quiet and without Old Town but still nice for a walk. Close to national park. There are also Turaida castle remains nearby but in my opinion there is no medieval vibe there.

Super place for a family vacation!
Super place for a family vacation! Lots of outdoor activities suitable for kids of various ages. Excellent service and instructor at Aerodium, definitely a strong recommendation as for Tarzans to which this was our fifth visit and it never fails! :-) All in all a lovely little city!
We had a lovely stay in Sigulda. Parking was easy and the apartment was comfortable. It’s well located with groceries nearby and the train right across the street. Even with the train being close, it wasn’t bothersome at all and we didn’t hear it.
My daughter forgot her favourite sweater in the closet and they went through great trouble to get it in the mail back to us. It was so greatly appreciated as they went far above and beyond. I can’t recommend this property enough!
Location location location
The location of this hostel is so unusual.. If you don't have a car in Sigulda and you arrive late there, you will never forget your trip from Sigulda city center to this hotel :D
Luckily, the weather was good when I stayed there so I have best memories about this hostel and my adventure to get there from city center.
That was a first time for me when I stayed in multi-bed hostel room, but it exceeded my expectations :)
1. The view😍
2. The house is warm and feels freshly renovated, as well as has an interesting shape (round).
3. There is everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom.
4. Friendly host.
5. There is an opportunity to order a bathtub outside (for additional cost)
6. Fireplace 😍
7. Comfortable bed with linen.
Also location is amazing - it is still within Sigulda but feels like by the nature.
It is an amazing place with literarely everything what you can imagine starting from fully equipped kitchen and finishing with honey waiting for you. Villa Vilma's team is exceptionally friendly taking care of every little thing. Complementary sweets upon our arrival were super nice to have after a long drive. It is a must place to stay if you are in Sigulda.
Remote and quite location. Adequately furnished kitchen, convenient bathroom with Sauna (however we did not use it), two separate bedrooms, crib for a baby. Space for children outside. Self-check in without any hustle. All in all - our family of 5 (parents plus 3 kids, one of whom is 10 months baby) found the apartment convenient and according to our needs.
Funky little spot, and I mean that in the best way possible. Charming staff, warm delicious meal every morning, and a very handsome cat whom I'm certain is the proprietor. Bed was comfortable, well appointed for a B&B, close to everything in Sigulda (or at least centrally located to sights in the area.)
fantastic location, just 10 min drive from Sigulda, in the forest but very easy to get to. Everything is brand new and of high quality (coffee machine for example), very nice facilities - well thought out and very well executed. Wonderful views of the forest and the pond. Will definitely return!
It was short stay during business trip. Arrived very late, check in was fast and simple. Room itself okeysh, beds are not very comfy as they are narrow ( I am not a big guy). Location is nice as it is in a very center of Sigulda. Breakfast good enough to have a coffee, snacks and sausages.
Great hotel, large rooms, comfortable bed, really good breakfast (with properly fried bacon and good coffee!), nice spa and very friendly staff!
Definitely recommended! 20 minutes walk away from the city center area but many shops and some restaurants 5 minutes walk away from hotel, too.
In the heart of Sigulda, on a silent street, close to Sigulda castle ruins, which is venue for many concerts during summertime. Very clean, modern hotel, great value for money, nice breakfast, parking available on premises.
The place was nice and cosy. The hotel is near to the train station and all shops and restaurants are close to it. Easy check in and check out. Clean rooms and over all well maintained.
The lady who checked us in was super friendly. She recommended a good restaurant for dinner. She worked hard-check in, check out & worked at breakfast.
