Amazing find to stay in this tiny village in a modern house. We had the whole house to ourselves and were very comfortable. There was no exact address but we found it easily based on the photos. The owner was wonderful and friendly. He and his dogs accompanied us on our exploration of the fortress, then we hired him the next day to take us on a boat tour, which was wonderful. He also hosted us for an impromptu visit on the terrace of his family home with his relatives and offered us delicious coffee and figs and vegetables from his garden to take away for a salad. A wonderful first night in Montenegro! Also quite close to the Podgorica airport.

Stay: April 28 to 29 and May 5 to 6 2024. This is an older hotel but reasonably well kept. Staff is great and they do have a full restaurant which we used for our last dinner in Montenegro. The include breakfast was brought to the table and it was huge!!! Make sure you understand the options and double check with the staff what you want. You may risk having too much to handle... (which can be good if you have a long day ahead). The hotel location is key point as it is great for those arriving late or leaving early to/from the airport. Literally, 2 min drive. For the records, we arrived very late and were picked up by the hotel driver, free of charge. Next morning the driver took me to the airport to pick up a car at the rental company (Sixt). After a week, we arrived late afternoon, dropped our luggage and drove to the airport to return the car, asking for the rental company to drop us of at the hotel. Early next morning, the hotel driver took us to the airport. Not a recipe, but it worked flawlessly.

The location was perfect for us, because we wanted something very close to the airport. And it was PERFECT for that! It think it took us about 4 minutes to get to the airport! It was updated, very clean, and the check-in process was exceptional.

First and foremost, the view at this guest house is exceptional. We knew it was going to be lovely, but we were blown away as soon as we got out of the car. The guest house is super cute, and the terrace where you have dinner and breakfast has the most spectacular views.
It's important that you know this property is not a hotel, but a guest house, so the facilities are basic, but all you need while visiting this area. The family that runs it is lovely, and the food they cooked for us was absolutely spectacular! We had the best trout we have ever had, paired with delicious homemade wine. We definitely recommend!
