The owner Marc was incredibly helpful and all the staff were very friendly. It was a great base to explore the north of the island from. Really nice property overall and exceeded our expectations! The food was also excellent and reasonably priced. We liked the more remote location, away from the bustle of town.

Libertalia is a great value. The location was spectacular, and we had a clean, comfortable bungalow right on the beach with gorgeous sunset views. The hotel grounds are like a well-kept garden, and even though it was the first week of October we saw whales swimming just a few hundred feet from the hotel on several occasions. The staff and friendly, courteous, and professional. The food was excellent, with a slightly different menu each day so you don't get bored. Our kids loved the infinity pool. Libertalia also has a cool bridge leading to a tiny private island you can explore, which is part of the hotel grounds.

it is an idyllic setting. bungalow just overlooking the beach. but the bungalow has seen better days and showing its age despite basic amenities like hot water, a luxury in Madagascar. A phenomenal good value if you just want to relax.
