Spectacular stay in Hovden! The moment you enter the room and see that view you know you've made the right decision. Remote little Hovden truly feels like the edge of the world. Tove was a great help in getting us settled. Don't miss the wonderful cafe nearby!

The lodge is an oasis of luxury in the middle of pristine unspoiled nature and together they offer the absolute best for relaxing (or active, if preferred) vacation. Our family thoroughly enjoyed top facilities that include: enormous gorgeous deck, jacuzzi, kayaks, indoor fireplace, fire pit, and even a motor boat. There are many hiking trails around, within minutes of driving - each was a combination of great workout and awesome views, without crowds! We are already dreaming of coming back, just one day after leaving!

We spend time in an area with a radius of 25 km, mainly walking in the mountains, enjoying the typical views. Luckily the weather allows us.
On our request the 2 bicycles and 2 kayaks had been made available (although we did not used such).
The WhatsApp communication with the owner was fine.
Access to the house was by coded-key box.
The curtains in our sleepingroom did not provide adequate obscuration during our nights. We used other blankets instead.
