Lovely house and the owners were kind, generous and great to have a chat with and also helped us out heaps. The living spaces have everything you need including plenty of breakfast options as-well as a living space with Netflix. The place is very tidy and well kept and the house itself was beautiful and was close to shops making it easy to explore Tauranga and Mt Maunganui. Although there was no one else staying in the accommodation at the same time, as there are a few rooms so I could imagine this would be a great place to potentially meet other travellers. Would definitely recommend:)
Featuring access to a swimming pool and a children’s playground, Accommodations at Te Puna Motel and Holiday Park offers accommodations only 10 minutes’ drive from Tauranga city center.

The accommodation was very good. Large rooms which were very clean. Also the bathroom and kitchen had had an upgrade. Most happy with the rooms. Our hostess was helpful and very courteoous.

The location is good. There were local shopping facilities very nearby that included a Supermarket, Laundromat and cafe's.
It's beautiful but no diversity. The locals definitely treat you like a foreigner. We got racial slurs from the local youth, some of the local shops didnt carry eftpos machines. There weren't too many decent food options other than pub food, sushi and pizza. Stand out was definitely the lack of diversity and tolerance for non white people.

It is a beautiful apartment overlooking the sea , I would definitely stay here again as I believe the beach is lovely too , not far from the black walnut wedding venue ( 6 km much better than staying in Tauranga )
We ate at the Pizzaria ( avoid the boat club )
Abrakebabrah in Tauranga has been a fabulous favourite of ours for 10 years and never disappoints.
