We're a couple living in Cebu City and came for a weekend trip to escape the city life.
We liked it a lot, the owners, Rudi and Maria, are incredibly hospitable and friendly. They even prepared breakfast at 6 AM on our last day because we had an early ferry back (breakfast is very yummy by the way).
We did the island hopping tour organized by relatives of the owners, it was very nice. I can especially recommend visiting some of the inhabited small islands nearby, such a different world and simple life there.
We'll come again if we need another escape from the city. 😊

Nice walking distance to chocolate hills and close to tarsier sanctuary, man made forest etc. The food that the host cooks is amazing for breakfast and dinner, and extremely cheap for what you get! The host and her family make the place, they are lovely and took me to see fireflies in the evening! If you do not ride a motorbike it is not a problem, only a 15 minute walk to the main road where it is easy to catch a bus. Overall, incredible value for an amazing stay, would 100% recommend if you are looking for a peaceful location.

Really cool property, super great owners/workers, right in nature. I loved it, but no AC, showers were outside, lots of bugs and animals, so just be aware if that bothers you. Free daily hike (about 20mins, easy) to see sunrise over the Chocolate Hills. If you don’t ride motorbikes, you can rent a bicycle. Town (and food/restaurants) is 4km away, so you could walk or bicycle (or take a tricycle), BUT breakfast is free and they have an AMAZING dinner at the hostel for 150 pesos (it is vegetarian/vegan). They also sell snacks and fruit for reasonable prices
