Amazing little spot, tucked away close to Santiago beach. The staff was exceptional, and the folks running it were some of the nicest you'll ever meet. I spent 8 nights here, and wish I had 8 more. It's beautiful, quiet, and close to a couple restaurants and bars. The beach surrounds the property on 2 sides and they have scooters to rent. I would highly recommend this place. The owners made a delicious breakfast each day, and was helpful in finding spots to eat on the island for dinner.

Peace ambiance. Local province vibes. Approachable and friendly staff!! Shoutout to John and Rhea! They even suggested places that I can go to during my stay there. The owner was so kind and patient to me since I kept on asking her questions as to how to go there. So she suggested to pick me up on a tricycle at the port and Kuya Leni was so friendly and nice! Eventually, Kuya Leni was my tour guide for 2 days :) take note, i was a solo traveler but i was at ease with the tour with Kuya Leni and John. They were nice and did not offer a high price for the tours. They were humble too.I love the breakfast meals, corn coffee and buko as the welcome drink! The wifi was a plus! But if gets rainy, the connections becomes weaker (understandable since it is located in an island). Love the free shampoo (high quality) and liquid soap. They have a water dipper and pail too. Exceptional couple offering you the luxury of a quiet retreat in a beautiful island. Both Virly and Xavi made us feel at home straight away and have been nothing but lovely for the entirety of our stay there. They are running this very homey resort with a great sense of hospitality, always ready to answer our needs and giving advice or just simply having a chat with them because they really are great people all-around. And then you'll also be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the small island village with turquoise water and bird singing and can do a star gazing session while in the swimming pool in the evening. Thumbs up to Virly also for her delicious and homey cooking (we loved the baracuda fish). If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to rest in total simplicity, this place is just made for you.

1. The location is awsome. Beautiful view on the ocean and the neighbor island. The house is located on the hill and the balcony is hidden from passbyer's eyes.
2. Huge garden with shades and sunny spots. Nice lawn with ocean view where we could take sun baths. Many trees and plants with flowers. The garden is been cleaned often, so there are no dry leafs or branches.
3. The house has cooler, thus any time cool and hot water was available.
4. Big variety of kitchenware: pots, pans, glasses, wine glasses and so on.
5. The property has grill which is free to use. We made very nice grilled tuna on it.
6. Cute geckos small and big, who came out during the night time.
7. Very beautiful underwater world, when you go some distance from the shore and pass the sea weed. Many colorful sea stars and corals.
8. There is almost no turists and local people are harmless and friendly.
9. The communication with the host was exellebt and he helped us alot.
Overall we very enjoyed to stay here and we would defintely come back here again.
