I highly recommend this hotel. The facilities are very nice and the owners were exceptional! Breakfast was very delicious. Later that night we sat on the terrace with wine and enjoyed the beautiful views of the river and surrounding wine country. Tua is a very cute town.

The property is gorgeous, even better than the photos. The exterior is a true highlight, with a functional BBQ area, numerous seating areas, beautiful gardens, cozy hammocks, and areas to lounge by the pool. The interior is spotless, with thought put into every detail. We stayed in the bedroom with the balcony overlooking the vineyards, and it was equipped with everything a guest needs for a comfortable stay. Sara is sooo friendly, gracious, and welcoming— full of great recommendations, travel advice, and fun conversation.

This house is amazing. Amazing views. The staff was also amazing and went above and beyond. We didnt have a great plan for dinner and the staff got us food in a nearby town and delivered it back to the house which was awesome. Really unique

We arrived quite late after cycling in the rain all day and Sara was there to greet us and help us. She transformed the whole house into a beautiful place. Very well thought out. The room was spacious, the common areas were very nice, we definitely recommend. Thank you Sara.

This is not just a stay..... It's an unforgettable experience. Your staying in an amazing location that overlooks the Douro river and the Douro valley. The host Martin is so welcoming. He makes you feel like your home when staying with him. His recommendations for wineries to visit, Restaurants to eat at, and places to see in the area are perfect. Waking up and looking at the priceless view from our bedroom was magical. I would recommend at least a 2 night stay so you can visit the restaurants and wineries in the area. It was one of the highlights of our 35 day trip around Portugal and Spain. We will definitely come back to see Martin on our next Portugal trip.
