Short walk and you have all you need for a one week stay, using Vila do Bispo to explore the impressive south western region of Portugal, especially Ingenia beach. We luved Eugenia at Restaurant Convivio, the fresh foods market and incredible range at Lidl supermarket. Evening village strolls and joining a local party at the local cultural hall, completed a memorable stay

Small town in an ideal location to explore the beaches and coastline of western algarve. Not too overrun by tourists like places like Sagres, still feels like a charming Portugese small town. Has large supermarkets too and a market for convenience. Could do with a few more restaurants and cafes though as there isn't much choice for eating out - there are a few good fish restaurants and a nice Pizza place but not much else.

Very nice small village, very well located with access to several very nice beaches, max 20 minutes away by car, either in the south coast or in the southwest, ideal for surfing. Very good restaurants in town and nearby. Ideal for nature lovers and birdwatchers and on top of that, its not crowded at all!

Vila Do Bispo is a nice place to stay for a few days and a great base for touring the local beaches. The only downside to our stay was that it was very quiet during the day and evenings when we went with very few restaurants or bars to grab a quick drink.
We ate at Eira Do Mel which was very tasty and if you like vegetarian food, try Pisco.
Convenient location in the center of Vila do Bispo, near shops, restaurants, mercado, and auto-laundry. We were hiking the Rota Vicentina and it was close to trail and easy to find. Room was very pleasant, good beds & shower, and cute little private patio w/ access to pool & courtyard. It was a great place to dry out damp packs & jackets:) Very quiet at night. It's a classic older building renovated into private rooms with kitchen, common areas, beautiful courtyard and a small pool
After a long hike this hotel took care of all of our needs! We were able to use the pool, get a massage and get all of our hiking clothes laundered. The village hotel was central and very comfortable with helpful staff. The breakfast had a good selection and it was close to the trail. Not many options to dine, we chose a Portuguese place and it was ok, a little greasy but good value.
Remember you are going to a rural part of Portugal, this is a countryside accommodation. Yet, it has everything you need: comfy rooms, Wi-Fi, hot water, a shared kitchen, etc. Our room had private bathroom too. Parking is easy, and everything in the south-west of Portugal is nearby. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
It's a very wonderful boutique hotel with pretty sitting areas in the garden. The property offers free drinking water and coffee as well. The interior designing is very suave and common areas have good vibes. They were kind enough to agree to store my luggage for an extra day as well before my arrival.
Perfect location, you can walk everywhere in Vila do Bispo, and also very near from Raposeira.
Reasonable priced comparing to what is on the market here.
Owner was very accomodating and flexible. I booked 1 night and ended up staying 3... Because it felt like home!
Casa Mestre is centrally located but a quiet hotel, that provides access to a pool area and well equipped kitchen and outside tables. Unfortunately we stayed just for one day, would love to stay day longer and enjoy the pool area bit longer.
We loved staying in the Appartment! It was super comfortable, very cozy, great facilities and a lovely host!
We would love to stay here again!
Vila do Bispo is super close to many beautiful beaches!
Nice location, in the middle of nowhere, but at the same time close to Sagres (with a car). You can really see the stars there! The hotel was nice, the room was quite spacious. Really nice terrace.
Cute and simple bed and breakfast in Bispo, from where you can discover the south-western coast of Portugal and its incredible beaches. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money!
A great hotel with a nice pool and small town with many eating options. The rooms are also very spacious. Great option to relax for a few days but also for hikers as a relaxed evening.
Breakfast was the best we had in Portugal! João was so kind an helpful. We hope we are lucky enough to come back here. It is very small and intimate place.
