The guesthouses are very nice restoration of some traditional houses, build around year 1800 by successors of Transylvanian Saxons. The carefully restored wooden structures for floors/ceilings, wooden doors and windows, plus the houses' architecture with their strong exterior walls, give an impressive reminder of those times. Very carefully added modern facilities - like central-heating and radiators in each room, modern shower/WC in the bathroom - allow the staying there without giving-up some 21st century comfort.
One of the buildings was expanded to a Restaurant & Bar, with the kitchen attached, so that all the 3 meals of the day were always freshly cooked - tasty traditional cuisine, especially on lunch and dinner.
The manager of location (Ms.Lucretia) was there every day, always helpful with an advice/recommendation and very attentive to the guests.
Overall, I recommend this location to everybody who wants to have some days of peace and tranquility, at a beautiful Transylvanian countryside.
