The view from Kitabi is breathtaking: rolling tea plantations and clouds above Nyungwe forest. It is well located, almost at the edge of the forest, coming from Huye (Butare). The road to access Kitabi is a little rough but doable without a 4 wheel drive. Service was good but remember to order your meals well in advance. Showers and bathrooms are shared but were clean and practical. Hot water is available in the showers most of the time.
