I did not like being charged an additional 8 dollars at check in, for a hotel convenience fee. The fee is not mentioned anywhere while booking the hotel. You are forced to prepay for your reservation, and it is not refundable. So at check in you either pay the 8 dollars or forfeit your reservation dollars. This seems kind of shady to me.

Location was convenient. Close to where the venue I went there for. The staff was overall friendly. But the hotel was noting to brag about. This isn't the best Holiday Inn Express.

This was my second time staying at Knights Inn and I love that it is been very quiet both times I have stayed there, my room was better the first time this one needed some repairs but all in all it was a good stay, I travel for work and I always enjoy some peace and quiet after work.
I am pretty sure I would stay there again love the location and the overall feel of the place

Alvin seemed to be a decent size without being too small or too large. It was easy to get around to what was needed. The town had plenty of choices in anything we needed or wanted.
Because of Covid-19, we kept our adventuring to a bare minimum as we were there mainly to visit our daughter and her family. I would like to return and do more exploring of the area.
Hotel stay was great. The only complaint I have is the check in.
I give her a debit card for check in and credit card for incidentals.
She charged me just the opposite and couldn’t fix it.
Then there was the coffee issue. I asked the guy who is responsible coffee if it was fresh. He stated yes I just made it. As I made a cup I quickly realized it was cold not warm cooollldddd. When I Pointed it out he wanted to argue with me about it. Desk clerk came and verified it was cold and had fresh made.
Other than this everything was Perfect
Everything. Hotel seemed like a cute private boutique hotel near the beach. Pleasant surprise for the value and staff was attentive. Have a semi or horse trailer? They got you covered. Good hot breakfast and a quaint 40 room hotel.
Overall we had a good stay at the hotel. I noticed that things have been upgraded and I am very happy with that. Holiday Inn Express will always be my first choice for hotel stay. I love the dow comforters and the breakfast buffet.
Hey, it's not the Taj Mahal. The room and it's location in Alvin was very convenient.
After all, I'm not buying the place and I just needed a safe, convenient, place to stay for the weekend.
