Nothing everything about this place was a mess and it was in probably the worst shape of any hotel I've stayed at. It was under construction the entire time and was unfit to have people there. This place needs shut down and fixed before it should be rented.

We had not received the room that was confirmed they placed us in different accommodations we was confirmed double bed and lower level do to handicap reasons . Then as we went thru corridor they was very dirty hallways outside was dirty and trash . Guests outside in parking lot smoking and asking for narcotics , women soliciting themselves for money , most horrifying situation we got to our room looked doors and could not use shower hot water did not turn out stripped out faucets and toilet made loud noises when used tv reception kept going in and room was filthy dirty it was a horrible place surprised that days in allows this franchise to put there name on the building also have pictures and videos Forgot to mention people knocking at ur door at 4 am to ask for weed and cigarettes

We only stayed in Amhearst because of the location between the lake, the zoo, and getting back home. We weren't there for the city at all. I can only review the small area where the hotel was. Everyone we met was cool, and friendly. The one dude at the hotel that we dealt with was really kind and helpful. Traffic was never too bad. Except I am going to say that Cleveland drivers are crazy, and rude. We ate at the Dennys and Raising Cane's in the parking lot of the hotel. I'd never go back to either. The Dennys food was awful, but the poor, overworked staff was really nice. The Cane's... Meh. The sauce wasn't good enough to make up for the bland chicken. I'd rather have KFC or Popeyes. Price was good, though.

I was placed in the back of the hotel where it looked like there were people living there and it was dirty. My room smelled like a smoking trash room. When I came back the second night the room was not cleaned up at all!!!!! Run from here. Don’t stay here!!!!

They have the continental breakfast and David the breakfast guy is excellent. If you are going to Cedar Point as we were, it's right at 30 minutes away from Cedar Point one way and Cleveland the other way. Pretty convenient, in a nice area, lots of good restaurants nearby. Great staff. The beds were great and it's not noisy at all there. We really had a great stay overall, value for the price was good.

Made reservations and when we arrived not what we were looking for. The lobby when we walked in our shoes stuck to the floor and had a smell hand prints all over glass and dust and dirt in lobby cafeteria doors. We know this is an old hotel but after the presentation of the lobby we could not stay at this property.
