The St Laurent Guest Rooms, hotel in Belmar

Located in Asbury Park and with Asbury Park Beach reachable within a 7-minute walk, The St Laurent Guest Rooms has concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi...

Booked a King room, we ended with a room with a view on the pool and the house next door, clean, spacious, nice bathroom. Only things I would say/change: bathroom could have a few more amenities for the price, like some body cream in addition to the shower gel/shampoo, etc.. second thing is all the beds in the property are murphy bed, and although it was very comfortable, it did make some noise when you moved around !

    Beautiful beach. Well maintained bathrooms.

Beautiful beach. Well maintained bathrooms. There are not many options for food on the waterfront - you have to go to Main Street for most choices. Breakfast especially wasn't so easy to find on the boardwalk. Next time I'd bring breakfast food with me. Free, but limited parking, but beach entry is $10 per person.

This place is good for a short vacation for a couple.

This place is good for a short vacation for a couple. If you have kids, and in need of space, this won't be the place to choose. We might return, as the location is fantastic, but the hotel needs more upgrades. A few things like a hair blow dryer, paper napkins, coffee, all of it is not available upon request. Be prepared with these items to be packed along with the clothes. And pack light, as there no room to store it.

Street parking is available along the beachfront using ParkMobile. $2/hr all day. No overnight parking there, but you can park free on the side streets. Beach badges are required & life guards are on duty in the summer.

There was nothing inviting about this place for being right across from the beach. No decor whatsoever, no cozy feel. Looked run down and I didn't feel safe. I originally booked a two bed but my daughter canceled because of her work so I asked for a single thinking I was going to get the difference in price back and they said they couldn't do that. I'm in customer service and I would of absolutely accommodated my request. I will definitely not stay here ever I will do hotel or Airbnb

A good place to stay off-season.

A good place to stay off-season. Belmar is a "real" town on the Jersey shore, unlike many of the others that cater for summer visitors only. An adequate number of pubs and restaurants (including for seafood), a train station, liquor store, pharmacy, grocery store etc. Easy access to Spring Lake along the boardwalk and close to Asbury Park.

The beach front location was the deciding factor in choosing our accommodation. There are other highly rated properties in the area. There is a lot of free on street parking. The Boardwalk connects to the two adjacent towns and makes for a very easy walk. There is a very good choice of restaurants within a twenty minute walk of the beach . Most of these are close to or fronting onto the Shark River and it’s marinas. Good coffee shops, bars and a micro brewery all add to the holiday experience.

We spent a couple of days in Belmar with my husband and we stayed at this very cozy and nice B'n'B. The owners are the most friendly and hospitable people, making sure their guests have everything they need. They serve a fantastic breakfast on a porch terrace which you cannot expect in a chain hotel. They also provide everything for the beach at no extra charge (tags, chairs, umbrellas, towels). The room was very clean and beautiful, we even had a small jacuzzi bath. I'd like to return here soon, it was really great time.

The location was nice, the price was reasonable for something at the Shore "In Season." The town is fun, as it has the Marina and other nice resturants and bars. The 1920's era hotel was an experience, and the lobby has lots a nice plants and beach decorations to give you a Shore Vibe. Customer Service was very friendly each time we asked for help or checked in and out. And the boardwalk is great for a long stroll.

First time to Jersey Shore. We usually go to Cape Cod but wanted warmer water. Saltwater Inn was perfect. It was a great location to walk to Delmar Beach or many restaurants. Everything was freshly upgraded with a beach vibe. The cleanliness was outstanding. The host, Josh was friendly and helpful. He made certain all our needs were met. Excellent outdoor seating on the porch.

The hotel offers lovely common areas, a sunroom everyone should experience and a leisurely charm missing from travel. there are few other places with beachfront property. The room is modest, but cute, more in a European tradition than our glitzier but redundant motel rooms.

You cannot beat the price and location - and although small, the rooms were quite homey. My expectations were a bit low, but I was happily surprised when I arrived! Friends stayed at pricier hotels in the area, but the rooms were surprisingly similar.

The location of this Inn is very convenient, it’s about a block from the beach. You can see a partial ocean view from some rooms. The hotel rooms were a good size for the Jersey Shore as well. Friendly front desk personnel as well.

Ocean Front room, king size bed, exceptional sunrise views over the ocean. The hotel is old, 1929, but it is kept up and most of the rooms renovated. I like the vintage charm and character of the entire hotel.
