We refused to stay there. We left and called our credit card charge card to cancel it. The room was musty and snelled like pee. We were not offered another room and there were people in the parking lot arguing.
Lots to do in Chappell Hill & Brenham area. My girlfriend, my sister, and I had lunch at a steak & seafood restaurant, then tried several flavors of ice cream at the Blue Bell Creamery. Next we visited the Miniature Horse Farm, took a private tour of the Giddings' Mansion with Debi, and sampled six wines at Saddlehorn Winery. The following day, we stopped at the Lavender & Berry Farm and learned a lot from Maria. We took pictures of the Bluebonnets & Indian Hawthorne alongside the road, then headed for shopping & dining in downtown Brenham. Ate lunch at Slice of Heaven and had a refreshing lemonade drink at the Artsy Cafe. Purchased alpaca gloves from an antique store & a couple of necklaces from Tribal. Could definitely have stayed longer & can't wait to go back.
