First they gave us someone named Laura room with one bed. They said booking.com did not inform them of the two rooms one with king bed and the other with two double beds. Then we were offered to separate rooms but because we wanted to stay together we stay in the room with one king bed one double because it had a sleep sofa.

The staff was really helpful and the kitchen was open late and I was even able to find something for my son who has celiac disease so that was a bonus.

We only had breakfast there one morning and grabbed bagels and juice. There were eggs and waffles and some other items as well. We preferred to go out around the city to get breakfast.

Location was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff.. surprisingly good breakfast.
This was the worst stay I have ever had. The place had dogs.
This was the worst stay I have ever had. The place had dogs. The was a strong smell of urine and feces. There were spiders in the room. I had to kill a few. The office staff was missing a lot. We had to disinfect the room just to sleep in it. I would really appreciate my money back.

We were glad there were two of us to drive and navigate--also glad for the GPS. Traffic moves fast and you need to know your lane. Plenty of good places to eat and plenty of places to shop. We avoided some main attractions (Winterthur and Longwood Gardens because of weather. Convenient to Delaware City and New Castle.

One thing right off the bat.
One thing right off the bat. When we got there, they had no reservation for us. Somehow our reservation got cancelled by mistake, but the person at the desk corrected the mistake and found us a room. That was great. He was such a nice person. He should receive a raise.
The hotel lobby was not available for hotel guests. There was a locked door and it was closed off all the time. The guests had to deal with the hotel clerk thru a thick window and a small opening. There was no coffee available, and guests weren't allowed in the lobby. The first room we were given was like a giant ash tray filled with smoke. Then we were given a much better room. In the second room, the coffee machine was missing a plastic piece and the hotel clerk couldn't find another plastic piece.
I was so tired driving I had to find something. Honestly, I would have felt safer and more comfortable sleeping in my car at a rest area. The pictures, although average are not from the room I stayed in. Seriously, run-down, in desperate need of renovation (although the description says it was renovated) hotel. A dreadful experience. I couldn't sleep due to worrying about the safety of my family the car. I'm not exaggerating! This was not the safe, smartest, or comfortable lodging experience!
Nothing at all it was really not a comfortable place to lay your head. I literally only needed a few hours of sleep before heading back on the road home ir was cheaper than every else and by the pictures it looked well maintained, but that was not the case at all. Sadly I cannot give this place a good review at all.
The check in staff was horrible. I waited almost half an hour for the clerk to find my reservation and that was after I provided my name license and confirmation number. There was a homeless family on the outside bench of the hotel. The lobby was dirty. It was a terrible experience.
I stayed here on my way to Virginia. I will not stay here again. Although smiking was forbidden at the hotel, everybody was smoking and vaping. Not clean.
