honestly, i liked nothing about this place. it was far too expensive for the quality. i guess i liked how the other guests also hated the hotel as much as i did. i liked that after about an hour i finally got a refund and got to leave.

It was affordable, the rooms were clean but the furniture a little wore down, it was very quiet. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. Any issues they were prompt on fixing or resolving issues!

The staff were amazing-Jean Civil and George Ramirez and staff were way above amazing. The shuttle drivers to the concert - amazing. I hope everyone realizes what an amazing staff they have even those amazing ones that came around and did our rooms. It takes an entire staff to make the stay excellent and you guess have them.

Could not enjoy it as it was packed away each morning as we were arriving at least 20 minutes before the stated end time.

what i like the most was the restaurant choices. there is an olive garden, bob evans and an indian restaurant literally next door. there is also a shopping center with restaurants and shopping across the main road. we ate at a place called the silver diner that was in that shopping center. there is a costco, aldi's, royal farm, lowes, trader joe's and other stores in the shopping plaza. there is also a walmart less than 5 miles away on dobbin rd, along with other shopping plazas.

This hotel was absolutely terrible. The floors were dirty.
This hotel was absolutely terrible. The floors were dirty. There were no dishes in the kitchen, the toilet leaked, there was no lighting, except for one lamp, it smells like dog, it was very outdated and dismal. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until they refurbish it and re-renovate it. It was not worth the money that I paid. In fact I need a refund.

I liked That the hotel
was near lots of different restaurants and places to shop and visit , what didn't like us that I booked a room with balcony and was looking forward to enjoying the lush greenery surrounding the area but was told it was upon availability, I believe I was charged accordingly, because I wanted a balcony, this was my 25 anniversary, I can't fly so we decided to drive from the city to Columbia , it's also too hot outside fur a heated pool and ended up getting a rash because of poor water temperature and cleanliness of the pool it summer time why have hot water in a community pool we are still dealing with COVID and other bacteria, I got out immediately when I realized the water was hot I'm a wheelchair patient that was not healthy ..

In additional to Exceptional hotel.
In additional to Exceptional hotel. The surroundings were nice. My wife and I went to a wedding reception for my nephew. The restaurant was the Stanford Grill. The restaurant is right next door to hotel. It was nice and food was better than most restaurants. I like fresh air. So, I opened the window at the hotel. I do not like air conditioning unless I am visiting the Sahara or Death Valley.

The kitchenette was very convenient.
The kitchenette was very convenient. The bed was nice and the renovations were thoughtful in it’s design.
However and if I may, the hallway carpet needs to be replaced with something more conducive to high level traffic and smell.

DO NOT STAY AT SPRINGHILLS SIITES IN COLUMBIA, VERY BAD AND Unprofessional service. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. Very noisy and personal refused to close the door of the local to reduce the noise.
The Staff is always nice and very accommodating.
The location of my room was the first floor and there was minimal traffic or noise in the hallway.
I like the pool for my children and I .. I traveled with family, by myself, or with my partner and I have not been unsatisfied yet. I have already recommended this hotel to my friend who is visiting the Columbia Maryland area soon.
See you Soon Sonesta... Thank you
The room was smelly. It was supposed to have been non-smoking, but the the room had the scar of cigar/cigarette/drug use. We could not sleep well.
We tried to change the room. The hotel staff told us to contact booking.com. I contracted booking.com waited on the line for 40 minutes. No use and then I sent two messages. No response from booking.com for those two messages.
You must pay $20 for the Continents Breakfast because all the restaurants are minutes away from the hotel. The food is average and overpriced. The rooms are a nice size but dated. Paint was peeling on the ceiling and the bathroom sink was leaking. Not only that but I was late for a meeting because the shower broke.
They said they'd make up for it.
They did not.
We found the Garden Inn Columbia while we were driving between NY and home. The reviews were good so we gave it a try. The desk clerk let us check out the room before we booked it. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. We only stayed 1 night, but we had everything we needed. The bed was great, as was the bathroom. If I travel through again, I'm coming back.
The staff exceeded all of my expectations. Kamari, Tatiyana, Naoimi, Kristy, Candace, Myarim, and Shanel were all so friendly and provided nothing but excellent customer service. I see why this hotel is always in high demand and quick to sell out in the Columbia North location
We liked the lake views and how close the hotel was to the heart of activities and things to do in Columbia. The room was clean except for the balcony and the bed and pillows were much more comfortable than most hotels we’ve stayed at.
It was a very clean, nice room. The kitchenette gives the feeling of home far away from home. This was one of the few hotels where I didn’t use my own pillows and sheets, so believe me it is a fine place to rest.
The front staff persons were excellent and very responsive. The room had to be changed due to an issue at the hotel but they handled it very well and all the changes were completed before my arrival.
DeAndre was amazing! He was so caring and professional. The TV wasn’t working in our room, he tried to fix and he said let’s put you in another room! This hotel is fortunate to have him there!
The hotel was so nice. The staff was so nice. My room was amazing and very spacious and comfortable. They give breakfast, has a pool and a gym. I would stay there again.
The location is dirty it smells . The elevator was broken . I would never ever stay that location again . The company should be embrassed with condition of the hotel .
The staff was very friendly and professional. For a 3-star hotel like sonesta to provide comfort at lower rates then other 3-star hotels is a steal for your stay.
