The lower ratings for the hotel maybe have set my expectations very low, but I was pleasantly surprised. We were in town for a memorial service and just needed a cheap place to stay, and although the outside was just what you'd expect from an older motel 6, the inside was super clean and freshly done. Like usually, I've found that when cheaper motels are renovated, they cut corners or do some things sloppily, but here, everything was tip top, at least in my room. The bed was comfy, the room was nice, clean and the pool was clean and nice also. Staff was not very talkative but no complaints.

I loved that it was so close to a lot of nice food places, an icecream shop, a movie theater. The bed was comfortable, the room was very spacious. The breakfast was perfect to grab a bite before heading out for a long day.

The breakfast was not a breakfast: cereal, oatmeal and a biscuit you had an option to put gravy on. Wasn’t what I expected for breakfast or anyone who choses hotels to stay at based off of if they offer breakfast or not.

There are lots of interesting things to see and do in Denton. And, lots of good restaurants. We were in Denton to visit a friend and to attend the Materials - Hard and Soft art exhibition. The exhibition is a favorite of ours and we try to attend every year.
We had a very delicious brisket sandwich at Brisket Burgers this trip.
The main streets are busy, but otherwise it is easy getting around Denton. The city always surprises us with something new and entertaining.

Denton is a vet diverse city.
Denton is a vet diverse city. If you like shopping it's a great place. There are also numerous outlet malls near by. The city is great if you're visiting or are in college. It's definitely geared more towards college age people. The cops in Denton suck. They will stop you just because of the way you look. But other than that, it's a great little city to visit

Denton is a smaller portion of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Denton is a smaller portion of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. It is overpopulated leading to long drive times and long wait times at attractions and restaurants. Driving in this area is a lesson in patience and road rage control. The few tractions we managed to see were expensive for a family but entertaining. The restaurants around this area are all good.

I didn't really get out and about much as I was there for a convention. As I was heading out of town I went through the downtown area and wished I had gone down there. The downtown area looked like it would have been a fun area to check out.

Location hard to get too, water pressure bad as was wi-fi, bathroom needs updating, air conditioning need cleaned, the was a strong smell of mold blowing from the a-c unit, so we turned it off. The fire alarm yesterday topped it all, the Managment had no idea what to do! We had to tell them there were people stuck in the elevator! The front desk had no idea, on the subject of elevators, the left one is in bad shape, it shuddered and shook every time we rode it, told the front desk and they replied ‘will take a look at it! Look at other feedback it not just me, everyone says the same things. Won’t go back.
I loved everything about staying at this property. The location was amazing and right next to a Buc-ees, the lobby, hallways, and room were excessively clean, and the room exceeded all expectations. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and the bathroom was was big with a shower that had good water pressure and enough room to move around in. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly and more than helpful. I always enjoy my stays at these hotels.
The size of the room was larger the breakfast was a hot meal and the time foe the breakfast was perfect. The hotel was immaculate! The staff helpful and pleasant. I utilized the business center and the location was great. You can walk to restaurants, near Walmart, near manicurist and I appreciated the overall experience!
And no iam not paid for this review. It was great!
Staybridge Hotel Denton was great, it had great location and the rooms where perfect. I like the fact that it had a private room and even a mini kitchen in it. Perfect shopping nearby. I will definitely be a returning customer in the future
I did not love the breakfast and I typically like hotel breakfasts at places like this. Eggs were runny/fake tasting and muffins were overly sweet and tough. Biscuits and gravy were ok …bagel as well.
I loved the hotel and its staff. The bad horrible suck ass ratings are all for booking.com
Crooks and scum. Oh and if you work for booking.com and you’re reading this, fuck off and get a life.
Everything was a typical for a hotel but the housekeeping knocked on door early in the morning just to stair and say sorry till they left. Checked in late and would have loved to have slept.
Wonderful hotel. Loved that they had a bar where you could get a drink. The room was big, the bed very comfortable. I loved the pool and hot tub. The staff were great. Will stay again.
The bed was very comfortable and the hotel is in a very convenient location. It was also super clean as far as I could tell and the amenities in the room were great.
